Bundesliga Manager Hattrick (named like that because it is third game of the series after Bundesliga Manager and Bundesliga Manager Pro) was continuation of previous title again offering us a wide range of options to manage our team as well as wider choice of the teams: we can start in 1. Bundesliga, 2. Bundesliga, one of the two Regionalliga divisions or single Oberliga).
Together with new options and new interface the creators also prepared new was of presenting the game events, unfortunately it was a step back comparing to original Bundesliga Manager since we only see very short animations that do not give us much information nor build atmosphere inside the game. At the same time, just like in previous games, there are no match stats, there are no player stats, so often it is hard to make an educated decision.
At the same time there was one impressive option - we were able to take control of the national team, which was something different, also the management options were improved. For example apart from sponsorship deals we can also improve stadium, take care of the club gadgets, put bets on next league round, arrange friendly games, be a part of indoor tournament or even buy foreign players straight from their clubs.
On one hand it was a big step forward, but poor quality of game events animations stopped that game from becoming as huge hit as first Bundesliga Manager.
